The Silver Arrows rewarded few distinctive members Sunday at a rewards ceremony on Planet Cambridge. The SAC celebrated 3 new officer promotions as well as the dstribution of 2 Medals of Action Beyond Duty and 3 Bronze Silver Cross of the Silver Arrows. Here are media sequences of the ceremony :

The Silver Arrows Command has released officially the name of the new Chief Officer of the organisation for a period of two years. Its without any surprise that Sam Thomas is the man chosen by the organisation to be their chairman.

The SAC also promoted Thomas to the rank of Vice-Admiral during the Oaths ceremony for his participation in the CrossfireDB project and constant implication in the organization.

Chief Officer Vice-Admiral Sam Thomas was not available for a comment after the ceremony because he had to leave for immediate assignment.

The Silver Arrows Command is proud to announce that the recently created Silver Arrows' CrossfireDB is beginning private BETA testing this week. Rear-Admiral Thomas (ARROW) has cleared a first version of the system to be tested right away.

Members of the organisation will test all terminals and begin collecting data in the coming weeks. Contribution from all members will certainly help accelerate the process.

The SAC has not publish an official release date for public consultation of the system but it sure won't take more than 3 months. RAdm Thomas was very eager to show the system to his men :

Following a public request posted by SWAT admin and Crossfire creator, SWAT_OP-R8R, the Silver Arrows Command undertook to make the new sectors maps for the Crossfire community. The Silver Arrows Command is honored to present you with the new sectors maps for Sirius, Altair and the newly discovered Inner core.

These freshly printed starmaps use a brand new style displaying more details that any creation before. Regions icons, detailed legends and in-between system links make it now easier to understand the maps and use them to their full potential.

The maps have been realized by Silver Arrows' cartographer Ryleous Arkane (aka SA_ORION). His knowledge of the space regions has helped making those maps as accurate as they can be....

The Silver Arrows Command issued a positive report yesterday, three months after the recovery of their flagship Discovery.

Department of Foreign Affairs Director, Rear-Admiral Sam Thomas, expressed openly his happyness : It is good to see this organization flying high again. We all know how much time and resources the SAC spent finding the Discovery. It was close to stop all activity due to failure but at the last moment, luck has saved the day and since then, every man and woman in this family has stood up to rebuild and they did a very, very great job. The Silver Arrows is back again in full action and we can only hope for success in the future, was he quoted to say on Gorlowka Carrier, Sovestskaya.

The SAC has released the latest version of the Rewards and Decoration's list. The full release is available in the Members Guide in the Decoration sections downloadable here.

The SAC will transmit to every pilot their new signature wearing those new decorations in the coming days via the SA Record Files profile page.
